Add/Edit Text in an Existing Text Box

1) Click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the module.  (The default tab is "View Text", click the tab directly to its right).

2) Compose the text you want to include.  ePortfolio modules do NOT spell check and do NOT auto-save, so for anything longer than a few sentences we recommend writing in another place.  When finished, copy and paste into the box.

If you compose in Microsoft Word, use the "Paste From Word" button.

3) Format your text as desired.    To find out what each icon in the rich text editor controls, see this help page.

4) When finished, click the "Save" button (at the top or bottom of your text box).

5) To view your draft, click back to the "View Text" tab.

6) If you want to make changes, repeat steps 1-4.  To reset your content back to the previous save-point, click into the "Publish" tab and select "Revert Changes"

7) When satisfied, either click "Publish this Page" above your text box (then "Publish All Changes"), or click into the "Publish" tab and select "Publish Changes".  This step makes your work visible to others.

After publishing, you can still use the Edit tab to make additional changes.  Save and Publish again when finished.

NOTE: You should delete all technical directions from the final version of your portfolio pages.  Think about what needs to be displayed to your audience, and remove everything else.  Then save and publish.
